Concrete Emissions

Second only to water, concrete is the most consumed material on earth, with three tonnes per year used for every person in the world. Globally, cement emissions (a major ingredient in concrete) represents around 8% of global carbon emissions annually. In order to truly reach zero carbon emissions, it’s important to understand the possibilities for decarbonizing cement production, as well as other opportunities for carbon reduction in concrete mixes.
