When someone says “this thing or activity emits this many tons of CO2 emissions” it can be hard to wrap your head around what that really means. This graphic aims to put tons of CO2 emissions into perspective, looking at it in equivalents to numbers of cars on the road for a year, numbers of homes’ annual energy consumption and barrels of oil.
